Urinetown: The Musical
URINETOWN: The Musical was performed on the Ringwood Secondary College stage in Aug 2022.
This musical was an energetic and riotous adventure through a twenty-year drought and chronic water shortage. Public toilets privatised in a government attempt to control water consumption. Urinetown: a tale of greed, corruption and revolution all packed into one hilarious musical!
We are thrilled to have received 11 nominations from Music Theatre Guild Victoria in every category for this years awards of excellence! In addition we have RSC has been nominated for 8 Lyrebird Awards! Congratulations to the entire production family including the incredibly dedicated RSC staff!
On Dec 4th (Lyrebird Awards) we performed “Beauty School Dropout” & Dec 10th (Guild Awards) we will celebrated with a performance of “Run Freedom Run”. Jackson Smith was awarded Best Lead Male Youth Performer at the Guild Awards and Laure Pe was awarded a special Judges Awards for her incredible performance of Billy boy Bill.
