Year 7 Enrolment
Grade 6 to Year 7 Transition
All Victorian government primary schools follow the statewide Year 6 to 7 placement timeline.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child at a Victorian government secondary school. Applications for Year 7 open at the start of Term 2.
Victorian government primary schools manage the Year 7 placement process for their Year 6 students in accordance with the timeline.
At the start of Term 2, primary schools will distribute information packs to parents and carers.
You can find more information about applying for Year 7 placement at Moving from primary to secondary school | vic.gov.au
At the end of June placements are confirmed by the primary school and students subsequently receive enrolment information via email.
NB: Successful applicants will need to provide a 100-point residential address check.
Our school has an enrolment restriction under section 2.2.16 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic). and will prioritise enrolments from:
- students who live within the school zone
- students with a sibling attending the school at the same time
- students seeking enrolment on compassionate grounds, in exceptional circumstances.
Depending on available places remaining, our school may be able to accept a limited number of out-of-zone enrolments according to next closest to the school.
The department will review this enrolment restriction yearly and provide updated advice as necessary.
Our school zone is available Find my School which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.
Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.
