Ringwood Secondary College Students Win Top Honours

Ringwood Secondary College students Kaila Bergmann and Klay Po received top honours this week for their outstanding VCE results in 2021.

Kaila Bergmann received a Premier’s VCE Award for excellence in Visual Communication Design and Klay Po received Premier’s VCE Award for excellence in Karen. This puts them among the top VCE students in the state in 2021.  298 of Victoria’s brightest students were recognised by this year’s Premier’s VCE Awards.

Kaila received a perfect study score of 50 and recently her School Assessed Task (SAT) folio was displayed at Melbourne Museums ‘Seasons of Excellence-Top Designs’. Kaila is currently undertaking her final year of VCE at Ringwood Secondary College.

Faced with many challenges, including COVID-19, both Kaila and Klay never wavered from their studies showing dedication and commitment during the turbulent year both working tirelessly towards achieving their personal best. Both students were involved in many programs at the college and our community is very proud of their fine achievements to achieve such strong academic results.

I would like to acknowledge both Kaila and Klay’s teachers and educational support staff who supported them throughout their studies.
