It’s nearly that time of year where Ringwood Secondary College presents its annual Mental Health Carnival. This year’s carnival is on Monday the 20th of March 2023 and the theme is ‘shine bright like a diamond’. We are hoping both students and staff will get involved by wearing bright colours, sparkles, glitter and all things shiny! It should be an amazing day for the student and staff community to get involved in raising awareness for mental health and reducing stigma. On the day, there will be a dress up competition, activities, stalls, games, food trucks and more. Remember to bring cash (no eftpos facilities) and look out for further updates as the day gets closer. Wellbeing Prefect – Rebecca Poole will be providing more information to students in upcoming year level assemblies about the day.

We, the students at Ringwood Secondary College, acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land we are meeting on today.
We appreciate the waterways, mountains, skies, plants and animals from this land and thank our ancestors for their ceremonies of story-telling, music, dance and celebration.
We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging and promise to learn to live in a community that is part of the oldest living culture on Earth and move forwards together to a place of equity, justice and partnership.
We recognise that First Nations sovereignty was never ceded. This was and always will be Aboriginal Land.
