Sport
Ringwood has a proud tradition in sport and strong participation by students in the college sports program and in the district, zone and state level sports. Over many years, the college has been highly successful in competing in the Maroondah Sports District, winning many swimming championships, cross country titles and athletics championships.
Students are encouraged to participate in sports of their choice and there are 500 students and 30 coaches in the program.
More than 20 sports are available from aerobics, athletics, basketball and hockey through to table tennis, tennis, soccer and volleyball. A recent addition to the sports program is equestrian and other sports such as inline hockey, lacrosse, touch footy and cycling are run on demand.
A Sporting Hall of Fame recognises the achievements of past and present students and includes many Australian representatives and sports people who have reached the pinnacle of their sport.
